CHALLENGE: The Next Step in Digitalising Brokerages
CGS-CIMB was looking to develop a new brand for a digital investment platform targeting Millennials. To do so, they needed to get a clear understanding of the needs and drivers of a younger, more self-directed segment of retail investors, as part of its business expansion strategy.
The new online investment platform launched in Singapore, will be rolled out across other Asian markets from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam, to China and more.

More than informing positioning, this helped the client think through priority features for subsequent phases of development. It provided clear insights on pricing tolerance across markets, and their willingness to try the new platform.

IMPACT: Driven to Do Better
ProsperUs offers customised opportunities (based on the investor’s financial literacy and risk appetite profile) in more than 25 markets and across a wide range of asset classes and beyond. It is set to launch in other Asian markets in the next year.
