Following on from the comprehensive identity change in integrating all the entities within the National University Health System (NUHS), Activiste continued work with one of the integrated health cluster’s newest entities – a network of polyclinics across Singapore’s western health cluster.
CHALLENGE: Building Recognition
Having recently updated the group’s brand architecture and designed a fresh, new and unifying set of identities for all nine of the NUHS’s patient-facing entities, the National University Polyclinics (NUP) like the other entities was ready to start connecting and communicating with the general public and patients.
This was particularly important as this suite of polyclinics were previously associated with other healthcare clusters and needed to be aligned with a new health system.
SOLUTION: Signaling Change
We worked with the NUP team to quickly design and implement polyclinic signage across its six clinics, to create visibility and clarity. To facilitate the future needs of new clinics, a set of principles were developed to ensure consistent application with consideration given to visibility across a range of sites are considered.
Beyond building signage, Activiste also worked with the NUP team to develop environmental graphics and public outreach materials.
Importantly, Activiste also worked on NUP’s inaugural Annual Review in 2017-8 and have worked with them since to develop two more Annual Reviews. a fuller visual identity system currently in place.
IMPACT: Smooth Transition
As everything designed were both staff and stakeholder facing, they needed to be carefully managed. The suite of activations ranging from signage through to environmental graphics and communications material work in concert to reinforce and bring both NUP’s and the wider NUHS’s identity system to life in a compelling and impactful way.
