With mental health issues becoming increasingly prevalent, we needed to identify a differentiated and relevant positioning for a new approach to building resilience in mental health recovery.

CHALLENGE: Co-Creating Recovery

This was a new mental health charity that would create new programmes to promote recovery and mental wellness through a co-creation process. Co-founded by the Binjai Foundation and Caregivers Alliance, and with support from the National Council of Social Service, the new charity would provide a platform for people with lived experience to co-produce solutions for mental wellness.

SOLUTION: The Power of We

In line with the charity’s ethos of co-created recovery strategies, Activiste identified the brand opportunity, and design direction for its identity through a facilitated co-creative workshop with stakeholders.

“The Power of We” was a bold idea that helped put across how the newly named, Resilience Collective, would harness the diverse perspectives and experiences of its members to create practical solutions for those that were looking for sustainable mental wellness.

IMPACT: Creating Impact and Changing Mindset

This has become a powerful platform to channel the “lived experience” into novel initiatives and programmes not only for individuals seeking recovery, but also for corporates and schools that want to incorporate mental wellness in their culture or as part of their HR welfare initiatives.
