Whilst most people in Singapore, knew Touch Community Services as a non-profit, social services organisation for individuals from all religions and races, including children, youths, families, people with special and healthcare needs and the elderly – not many knew how its services and programmes connected to form a larger whole.
CHALLENGE: Siloed Services
Not as many were aware of its historic contributions to society – or its ongoing impact in communities across Singapore. As part of the TOUCH Community Services revitalisation, Activiste worked closely with the leadership team in better articulating and expressing its approach, strategic direction, and desired impact.
SOLUTION: Ecosystem of Care
After an extensive discovery phase, we realised that there was an opportunity to reframe it from a multi-service organisation to an integrated organisation with a replicable model to reverse the “closed-door” syndrome for those needing assistance within the community. Activiste sought to demonstrate how Touch was effective in reconnecting people; refocusing potential, rebuilding independence; and reframing issues and insights gleaned from the cases it dealt with over the decades.
The first step was reorganizing the brand as an ecosystem of support that fosters connected and participative living. This was supported with a new messaging framework and visual communications system that made it more recognisable and calls out the kind of impact the organisation seeks to make.
IMPACT: Strong Families, Caring Generations
TOUCH’s work to build Strong Families, Caring Generations and Enabled Communities has been set on the foundations of its heartbeat in the community.
