Targeting the price sensitive sub-contractor market with a dedicated trade supply brand which does not conflict with Sin Kim Heng’s premium solutions offer, but which caters specifically to the needs of the contractor.

Activiste embarked on a strategy, naming and identity programme, which resulted in a trade supply brand which empowers timber flooring contractors to do better work by providing the full suite of high quality products from the best manufacturers in the world – and the Timplex brand was born.
Empowering timber flooring contractors to do better work with support advice that will help them install more quickly, efficiently and cost effectively, “Just ask Tim” was created to emphasise this aspect of the Timplex service.
IMPACT
In addition to its online ordering system, a new trade showroom in Singapore was established to serve contractors more comprehensively. Business growth has been encouraging and the company is looking at overseas expansion.
