Laura Ann Ping

Associate Director, Strategy & Communications
With a degree in Medical Biochemistry, Laura has until now specialised in healthcare communications in her career. Within Activiste she is responsible for strategy development, and brand communications for its clients.

Over the past three year and prior to joining Activiste, she has  worked in Weber Shandwick in the healthcare sector for both private and public sector clients. These include Parkway Pantai – one of Asia’s largest integrated private healthcare group;  Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD; as well as public medical associations such as the College of Family Physicians Singapore (CFPS), and the Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI). 

Across these clients, she supported and managed awareness campaigns, corporate profiling, communications toolkit development, crisis and issues management, newsletter development, as well as media training. She also co-led integrated public education campaigns in Singapore, in which she drove the influencer campaign, media outreach, and stakeholder engagement, social media channel management and website development.

Laura graduated with an honours degree in Medical Biochemistry of the University of Manchester, UK, and interned at Duke-NUS in Singapore.
