Vernice brings a wealth of experience in managing and creating brand business. She started her brand marketing career at Elizabeth Arden, managing brands and driving businesses (both domestic and travel retail) across Asia.
She started her brand consulting career in 2000 at Interbrand, working with clients from various industries spanning FMCGs, government, banking and property development. Vernice contributed to the valuation of the Top Singapore Brands 2002 conducted by IE Singapore.
As a green enthusiast and a strong believer in sustainability, she founded a new brand of footwear in 2006 and was nominated Great Women of the Year 2010 by Singapore Women’s Weekly, for developing the great idea behind the footwear brand she founded.
In 2012, Vernice created a series of animated fiction ebooks and won the International IndieReader Discovery Award 2013. “Haee and the other middlings” was one of the first animated book series created in Singapore using EPUB3 technology. In 2014, Vernice expanded the book series as a brand business and successfully launched a line of product merchandises based on its famous cat protagonist, Haee.
Vernice has a keen interest in branding for the non-profits and continues to consult for them. She holds a B.A. (E. Lang & Lit) from National University of Singapore and an M.A. (M. Comms) from Oklahoma City University.
