Dr. Bong has served as a strategic advisor and domain partner to Activiste since 2017.

The partnership began with the reimagining of the Sampoerna School System, spanning Sampoerna Academy and Sampoerna University—institutions where he continues to serve as Chairman of Sampoerna University and as a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Putera Sampoerna Foundation. Since then, he has collaborated with Activiste on numerous projects spanning education, public sector, technology, and cause-related initiatives.

His career spans distinguished leadership roles across both the corporate and higher education sector

• Higher Education Leadership: Held positions as Vice Chancellor, Chief Executive,     and Chairman across various institutions of higher learning (IHLs)
• Nortel (from 1990): Managing Director and Senior Vice President
• Lanka Bell Telecom (through 2000): Member of the Executive Committee (EXCO)
• Keppel T&T Limited (2000–2004): Independent Director and Managing Director

Dr. Bong currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director on the Board of Blue Ocean Global Network, a renowned global community of policy and strategy experts founded by the authors of Blue Ocean Strategy. He also spearheads innovation as Chief Designer of Blue Ocean Academy and its consulting arm.
